The air around Rodgers’ future in the NFL cleared when he announced that he will continue to play for the Packers. Although the reigning MVP hasn’t been able to guide his team to a Super Bowl title since 2011, the Packers just couldn’t afford to leave him out.

When it comes to Rodgers, a lot of people have a variety of opinions about him. Not long ago, Colin Cowherd had claimed that Aaron actually has got a lot of trust issues. “Aaron has shifted to the summer and spring of Aaron. We know he doesn’t work with young receivers, we know he has trust issues.”

They got a young receiver last year, he threw four catches all year. This year, he’s got Sammy Watkins and three rookie wide receivers. Two of those guys, he’s got a relationship with, the other guy’s just coming on. Tom Brady was at Jesuit High School in Tampa, during a pandemic, illegally working on relationships with stars like Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Gronk,” he had stated.

These are kids (Packers WR’s), you just think you know he doesn’t need any reps, that is the biggest bunch of bull and the fact that Green Bay buys into it tells you Aaron still controls the operation,” Colin had added.

There is no doubt about the fact that the Packers adore Aaron which is exactly why they even let someone like Davante Adams go as they had spent a lot of money on retaining the QB. However, it would be fair to say that Rodgers has an uphill task in front of him in the coming season.

Without Adams, he will have to carve out a new strategy to guide his team to wins.
