The action-packed Divisional Round of the playoff is about to begin this weekend. Tennessee Titans, the No.1 seed in the AFC, will face Joe Burrow and Cinncinati Bengals on Saturday night. The Bengals have been dominant for the past few weeks and it looks like they are dead set on making it to the Super Bowl this year.

Joe Burrow led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1991, ending a 31-year drought. There were many headlines floating around asking if the Titans were the worst 1 seed in decades? Analyst Kyle Brandt on the show Good Morning Football answered this question in great depth.

“Tennessee Titans are not the worst seed”: Kyle Brandt supports the Titans

Being the No.1 seed in NFC or AFC doesn’t guarantee a championship. Brandt pointed out that Aaron Rodgers, the No.1 seed lost in the divisional round after an MVP season. The same thing happened with Tom Brady. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, in his MVP season, lost in the Wild Card to the Titans. “The Titans are not the worst 1 seed”, said Brandt.

“Make no mistake. This is not that no one believes in them thing, it’s that no one cares about you, you are not worth believing in, that’s the thought. There is more interest in what glasses Joe Burrow will wear after this game than what Ryan Tannehill will do during the game. The fans don’t care!”, Brandt said.

“The TV gods want the Titans out so bad”, added Brandt. “We can’t have the 2021 Titans in the title game. We gotta get this rooting-tooting Bengals teams to the big game.” However, Brandt disagrees with this unfair assessment of the Titans. He stated that the Buffalo Bills lost to the Titans. The might Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Titans.

Kyle Brandt is confident that the Titans will emerge victorious on Saturday night. He said, “I see the Bengals are younger, they are cooler but the Titans are better and I think that still matters. I remember the Titans, I picked the Titans, and I pick them big, 38-20 Tennesse win.”

The Titans have also activated running back Derick Henry for their Divisional Round matchup. So, it will be amazing to watch both the teams, at their best, to fight for the AFC Championship spot. The Bengals will travel to Nissan Stadium to face the Titans.
