“Odell Is Moving On Because Of You, Bro”, Stephen A Smith Blames Mayfield For The Move

The relationship between Browns’ wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr and quarterback, Baker Mayfield has taken a very ugly turn and things continue to aggravate as every single second whiz by. In the latest episode of hurling vitriol at each other, Beckham’s father took to Instagram to post an 11-minute video where Mayfield has muffed up attempts to throw the ball to Odell from an open play.

It seems that Beckham’s father was not the solitary person to express his disapproval of the partnership but erstwhile NFL star, Steven Smith Sr has also vocalized his concerns about an exacerbating relationship both on and off the field between Mayfield and Odell. Smith is currently with ESPN as an NFL analyst ever since his renouncement in 2016.

Just ahead of the Thursday night game, Smith issued a scathing statement against Mayfield, whom he believes must be made culpable for Odell’s string of poor runs. Smith was heard quoting, “You’re average. You’re not very good and Odell is moving on because of you bro. Bottom line. “

In a sad state of affairs, Baker Mayfield talked about trying to improve his relations with Odell Beckham Jr and yet the latter hasn’t responded to any initiatives from the quarterback. Sadly, for both the players, there have been injury concerns and despite your heart keeps on buzzing to ask you to play, your body has its limitations.

Baker Mayfield has seen to lose his shape ever since his labrum tear in Week 2 while Odell Beckham Jr has been playing with a shoulder injury that is compounded by a couple of other injuries too. Now with both the players who were once absolute giants of the sport have been in an unprecedented place where they have failed to support their team’s battling campaign but it seems very unlikely that their physical inhibitions along with the injuries that they have copped will allow them to be prevalent.
