“He’s never going to play,” Twitter hilariously trolls Packers for Jordan Love draft pick after big Aaron Rodgers news comes out

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has found himself on the radar of the NFL fraternity after massive news related to Aaron Rodgers was released today. Reports suggest that the Packers have decided on making the full effort to keep their veteran quarterback for the upcoming season, despite talks of him asking for a trade move in the offseason.

This has prompted people to question, why the Packers made the decision of drafting young quarterback Jordan Love during the 2020 draft. A move that was considered good at the time, given that Love would eventually take up the No.1 quarterback spot at the franchise has now come under the scanner with Rodgers reportedly set to stay on for another year.

If Aaron Rodgers ends up staying at Green Bay Packers, Jordan Love will start the year as the No.2 choice quarterback for the franchise for 2022. It does not help Jordan’s prospect who has so far just played 6 matches so far for the Packers and all of them in the 2021 season.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, “Packers are prepared to go all-in for Aaron Rodgers in 2022, spending as close to the cap this year and spreading it into future years as much as possible, per sources.”

However, it is perfectly justifiable that the Packers would look to keep Rodgers for another season, given the performances he churned out this season despite his off-field struggles. Aaron Rodgers won his 4th career NFL MVP award despite failing to reach the Super Bowl.

A large majority of the NFL fans although have taken another viewing on the situation wherein they are siding with Jordan Love’s chances of not playing significantly this season yet again, which would mean his third season with the Packers would also not go as planned.
