Twitter reacts as Aaron Rodgers tied with Brett Favre for the most TD passes in Packers History

Until yesterday, Brett Favre, SB XXXI champion held the record for the most touchdown passes in Packer’s history with 442 TDs. This changed when Aaron Rodgers, The Green Bay Packers QB threw his 442nd TD pass. Yesterday’s victory for the Green Bay Packers makes them the NFC North Champions for three consecutive years.

Aaron Rodgers started with 439 TD passes and tied with Favre’s record in the match against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. His first touchdown was a 3-yard throw to Davante Adams, which was his 65th TD pass to Adams. With this TD pass, Adams is tied with Rodgers to Jordy Nelson for the most prolific duo in Packers history.

His second touchdown for the match came halfway through the third quarter. It was a 9-yarder to RB Aaron Jones. Allen Lazard stopped linebacker Josh Bynes, which gave Jones the opportunity to turn his route upfield for an easy touchdown, leading the Packers 21-14.

The tying TD Pass came in the early fourth quarter. It was an 11-yard throw to Marquez Valdes-Scantling on a slant against cornerback Robert Jackson. He caught the ball at the four-yard line and dove into the end zone for the touchdown. Rodger’s 442nd touchdown pass led the Packers at 28-17 against the Ravens.

Green Bay Packers won 31-30 against the Ravens making them the NFC North Champions.

The former Packer’s QB Brett Favre congratulated Aaron Rodgers on tying his record for the most TD passes. Favre tweeted, “Good work @AaronRodgers12, keep it going.”
