He was backup to Tom Brady for four years with the Patriots. Garoppolo and the 49ers faced the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV but were crushed by the Chiefs 31-20.

Jimmy G is known to be shy about the woman he is dating. But he is known to have dated a model from Boston, Alexandra King, in 2018. He met King in early 2017. At the time, he was playing with the New England Patriots.
Alexandra King was born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1995, and majored in arts and design at the University of Massachusetts. She has modeled for various brands and campaigns and had a YouTube channel dedicated to make-up tutorials and vlogs. The couple was clicked together at Disneyland in 2018.
In February 2018, King uploaded a photo of her and Garoppolo on her Instagram with the caption “My Valentine”. However, when he was asked about his relationship with King by Bleacher Report, he replied — “It was news to me.”

The 30-year-old quarterback is also rumored to have dated an adult film star, Kiara Mia. In July 2018, Jimmy G and Kiara were spotted having a glass of wine and a delightful conversation before leaving the restaurant hand in hand. Later that night, Mia uploaded a photo to her Instagram story and tagged the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.
