As the Florida Panthers continue their quest for the Stanley Cup, the excitement of the fans has been on the rise. Labeled as the “Cinderella” story, the Cats have taken everyone by surprise this season. The team who are now taking on the Vegas Golden Knights has received huge supports from hockey fans. One of them is the recent PGA Championship winner Brooks Koepka.
The 33-year-old triumph at the Championship has been resonating around the world. The 5-time champion has not been shy of showing his support to the club. Koepka was once again spotted giving his support to the Cats. The golfer was earlier seen attending a game of the Panthers after winning the PGA Championship a few weeks ago.
Before Game 4, Koepka was spotted giving the home crowd a much-needed boost. The golfing world which has seen major developments in the past few days does not seem to be affecting Koepka. He was captured wearing an Aaron Ekblad jersey. This was the one that shocked the fans more as the two do not share a good history.
The LIV golfer had earlier called Ekblad as “a f******* traffic cone.” This came at a time when the Panthers were still trying to get into the postseason spots. Both of them have since made amends. Despite Koepka’s heroic pre-game boost, the hosts were unable to cope with the visitors and lost the game 3-2.

Time ticking away from the Florida Panthers
In the never-ending world of sports, there is always one team that takes everyone by surprise. The run these teams make are often described as fairytales. One of the most popular ones of them is “Cinderella”. The well-known story of the Disney princess has been compared with the campaign of the Florida Panthers.
The Cats had to battle it out to even make the postseasons. At that point, no one gave them the chance. The team has since then continued to silence their critics and perform at a high level. After eliminating the favorites, Boston Bruins, the Panthers then knocked out the Maple Leafs, emerging as potential candidates.
The Panthers continued their dream run and swept the Carolina Hurricanes to book their place in the finals. It though seems that they have now run out of steam. The team is currently 3-1 down in the series. Will they be down, they are still not out. However it will take more than a miracle to turn around this deficiency. Game 5 on Tuesday could decide the series. Can the Cats live to fight another day is something that remains to be seen.
