Minnesota Wild winger Ryan Reaves, though still in NHL, has disclosed what he wants to do the most post-retirement. Guess what? He seriously wants to take down his rival and ex-NHLer Paul Bissonnette in a ring. Yes, it’s not a rink but a ring.

Reaves noted that he wants to whoop him down and take him out for good. The rivalry between Biz and Reaves is an old couple story. They’ve been going against each other for quite some time, not to mention their squabbles are always entertaining.

During a podcast with Spittin Chiclets, Ryan and Biz started going at each other’s throats the moment they came in contact, that too in a video call. Nevertheless, it’ll be worthwhile to see how Reaves’ post-retirement plan works out.

Noting how the winger has openly stated his desires, it seems unlikely that Biz will take it down without any comment. Recently during an interview, the host took a few questions from social media fans, one of which was about a possible boxing match after his hockey career.

The fan who asked this question identified themself as “Alebeert”. It seems like Biz, also nicknamed ‘Biznasty’, would be the first person to lock on his target the moment Ryan Reaves locks up his skates. To light on the fire more, Reaves commented that he was already planning on a match and would love nothing more than it.

Reaves admitted stating, “It’s the only thing I’m looking forward to in retiring, I’m not gonna lie”. “I’m going to whoop him up and down that ring.”  During the episode with Spittin Chiclets, Reaves said that he would even “do it for free”.

The duo has been famous in NHL and there’s been quite a handful of situations when the officials had to come and stop their bouts. During such a situation, Biz admitted that when he ran into Reaves the two decided to settle the score with a punching bag game, where Biznasty came out as the winner.

That was enough indication to determine what an underlying future match between the duo. Maybe Reaves took the loss at heart and talks about a possible future boxing match taking place now.

Well, we’ll have to wait quite a bit before Reaves retires and decides on his boxing career. Meanwhile, I guess, Biz will have to warm himself up for the future match.
