“Why would Aaron Rodgers dare join Patrick Mahomes’ division?”- Nick Wright dismisses rumors of Chiefs fans getting nervous about the possibility of Rodgers joining the AFC West

Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers

The AFC West is one of the toughest divisions in the NFL as it consists of the likes of the Kansas City Chiefs led by Patrick Mahomes, the Las Vegas Raiders led by Derek Carr, the Los Angeles Chargers led by Justin Herbert, and the Denver Broncos who on their day are a good team especially due to their defense which is one of the best in the league.

Rumors are circulating around the league that Aaron Rodgers might well be on his way to the Denver Broncos since the Broncos have hired the former Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett as their head coach who might lure the superstar quarterback from the Packers.

If Aaron Rodgers decides to join the AFC West it will become the toughest division in the league by far as it already has the Kansas City Chiefs who have been to straight 4 AFC Championship Games led by arguably the best quarterback in the league- Patrick Mahomes.

“In the last 10 years, Patrick Mahomes has won more playoff games than Aaron Rodgers……”- Nick Wright

Patrick Mahomes

Nick Wright on First Things First talked about the comparison between Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes and said, “In the last 10 years, Mahomes has won more playoff games than Aaron Rodgers which is very interesting because that span starts when Patrick Mahomes was a freshman in high school.”

Nick Wright further added, “If we just go from the start of their career, 3 weeks from now Mahomes will almost catch up total playoff wins that Aaron Rodgers has despite Rodgers getting a 10-year headstart.”

He spoke about Rodgers and said, “Why would Aaron Rodgers leave a division that has a second-best quarterback of the division in Kirk Cousins to join a conference that has Mahomes.”

Uncertainty about Aaron Rodgers’ future with Green Bay Packers continues to go on and on as all possibilities are possible for Rodgers who still has not ruled out the option of retiring during the offseason and has said he will come to a decision before the free agency.
