This week’s WWE Raw kicked off with a sea of masked hooded men swarming the ring, with one of them quickly unmasking himself as Seth Rollins. He cut straight to the chase and declared his intentions of killing the Vision, the same faction he built from scratch.
He said anyone standing next to Paul Heyman should consider themselves marked for death. ‘The Visionary’ recalled receiving ultimate satisfaction by putting that steel chair across Heyman’s back and stomping his head a couple of weeks ago.
Just as he was burying Heyman on the mic, the latter showed up on the stage with a bloodshot eye and unshaven. ‘The Oracle’ was moving at a snail’s pace until Rollins affirmed that letting him into his inner circle was the worst mistake he’s made in his career. Rollins vowed to make Heyman pay every single day for betraying him so that he ultimately runs out of this business for the cancer he’s always been.
‘The Oracle’ finally got his words in and said he didn’t want to miss out on what he had brought along. Heyman’s effing with ‘The Visionary’ was followed by Brock Lesnar coming out and going face-to-face with Seth Rollins.
It didn’t happen until Lesnar cleared those masked men protecting their master. The 48-year-old singlehandedly dismantled almost a dozen bodies before seeing Rollins in the face. Just when it seemed like that was going to be the WrestleMania match, the lights went out and Oba Femi‘s music hit.
He received a thunderous crowd reaction, and the look on Lesnar’s face said everything. It was like the ‘Beast’ had seen a ghost. Femi ultimately lifted Lesnar up on his shoulders and flattened the 10-time world champion with a Fall from Grace. ‘The Ruler’ was all fired up seeing Lesnar grounded. In that moment, ‘The Beast Incarnate’ seemingly told the Nigerian wrestler to put his foot on his chest, which Femi did.

The fans on social media caught that bit, and it reminded them of the time when Lesnar did something similar with Drew McIntyre when they were feuding in 2020. Back then, the former UFC ace asked McIntyre to lift the WWE title up high after destroying him on the entrance stage.
Circling back to Femi and Lesnar, they’re now set to collide at WrestleMania in Las Vegas. That opening to Raw received widespread acclaim; both on the internet and in the arena, people were going bonkers the entire time.
What else happened on this week’s WWE Raw?
That segment involving Seth Rollins, Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar, and Oba Femi on Raw was followed by El Grande Americanos duking it out. The imposter picked up the win over the original one after his boys Rayo and Bravo got involved. In her first Raw match since March 2015, AJ Lee defended the women’s Intercontinental Championship against Bayley.

‘The Crazy Chick’ was successful in retaining it in an ending that saw Bayley tap out to the Black Widow submission maneuver. Lee was later attacked by Becky Lynch. ‘The Man’ tattooed Lee with the title belt before throwing it over the lifeless body of the former Divas Champion. Penta was in the ring, and he cut a promo reaffirming his pledge of being a fighting champion.
After declaring he was ready for anyone, Dragon Lee came out, and the two were set for the IC title match. These luchadores gave their all in one of the best TV matches of the year. The ending came when Penta planted Lee with the flip piledriver. The latter bounced off the ring ropes before succumbing to a pinfall loss.
Penta and Lee shook hands after the match as a gesture of mutual respect. Nattie defeated Maxxine Dupri by locking her up in a Sharpshooter. Randy Orton was also lined up for an interview with Michael Cole after he brutally attacked Cody Rhodes on SmackDown. ‘The Viper’, however, eventually refused to do it after speaking to someone over the phone.
The fans were left guessing who could be in Orton’s ears, with some speculating the devil on his shoulders being The Rock. Others believe it could also be Kevin Owens, who had an intense rivalry with Rhodes before getting sidelined with a neck injury. Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer later downed Raquel Rodriguez in a match that was crammed with shenanigans involving Iyo Sky and Liv Morgan as well.
Sky was attacked by Rodriguez in the gauntlet match last week on Raw after the ‘Genius of the Sky’ had eliminated her. The main event of Raw was Roman Reigns and CM Punk going at it once again.
The ‘Best in the World’ threw a punch at ‘The Tribal Chief’ over the latter calling him old and an embarrassment to the world title he’s carrying at the moment. Some fans thought it was very underwhelming on Reigns’ part to not double down on how Punk brought up his late father a couple of weeks ago.
