Which New Sports Have Been Included at Tokyo Paralympics 2020?

Fans watched some quite exhilarating sports at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. However, that was just the beginning as now, it is time for the Tokyo Paralympics 2020. This will be the 16th edition of the Games and they are taking place in Tokyo for the second time after 1964.
Interestingly, a couple of new sports have been included at the Tokyo Paralympics this year. These are Badminton and Taekwondo. They will take the place of Sailing and 7-a-side Football.
The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) started taking bids for new sports in 2014. However, it was on January 31, 2015, that it finally announced that Badminton and Taekwondo will be a part of the sports event from 2020.
The IPC has decided to take down Sailing and 7-a-side Football as the body analysed that both the sports have an insufficient international reach.
Know everything about the sports and events of the Tokyo Paralympics 2020
A total of 540 events across 22 sports will take place during the course of the Tokyo Paralympics 2020. Out of them, Athletics has the maximum number of events (168). About 4,400 athletes are taking part in the Paralympic Games this year.
There will be a total of 14 events in Badminton and 6 events in Taekwondo. Cycling will be spread across two categories namely- Road and Track and there will be a combined of 51 events in the sport.
The Tokyo Paralympics 2020 will begin on August 24, 2021, and will extend till September 4, 2021. Fans are quite excited about them and are looking forward to the sporting event. Which nation will be able to bag the most number of medals in Tokyo this year?
