Ever since Roman Reigns made his return at SummerSlam this year, he has been on a path to dismantle The Bloodline. However, Royal Rumble could possibly be the place where The OTC finally switches gears to move on towards a new route. A new report has emerged that reveals the current plans for The Needle Mover at the spectacle in Indiana next year.

According to WrestleVotes, WWE is planning to add the former Undisputed Champion to the Royal Rumble match for the first time in over four years. Other plans for having a singles match for the 39-year-old are being heavily opposed as of now. Therefore, it is likely that Reigns will be entering the coveted titular match at this point.

Moreover, it might be possible that by the time of the Rumble next year, The OTC would be finished off with the ongoing drama in The Bloodline. Previously, it has been established that the Florida-born wrestler considers getting back the Undisputed Title his next step. One can infer that going through the 30-man match makes perfect sense.

Furthermore, it would provide a fresh direction to the story of Roman Reigns. It is highly possible that stars like CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, and Seth Rollins are going to enter the Rumble as well. Without a doubt, seeing these stars share the ring with the former Undisputed Champion would definitely be a treat for the fans next year.

Cody Rhodes gives details of his promo at the Georgia Tech with Roman Reigns

Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Undisputed, Rhodes said that he and Reigns never exchanged words before this segment. He added that there were no rehearsals for this promo; in fact, they had no idea what the other was going to say. It was the reason the promo looked instinctive and organic, averred the Undisputed Champion.

Never spoke–just stood on opposite sides of the field and walked towards each other, neither with knowledge of what the other would say and just going straight through.

The 39-year-old even extended a thank you to the people behind the camera who made it look cinematic. Rhodes said that he had no idea this promo would be so sensational. Owing to that, he mentioned Paul Heyman, Jeremy Borash, and Rob Fee to be the entities who made this idea come to reality.
