Decade-old friends and stablemates have a heated argument after one of them costs the other his match on the latest episode of Raw.

Fans have recently witnessed a new side of Xavier Woods. Gone is the cheerful superstar who used to make his way to the ring with a trombone in hand. Instead, he has become increasingly serious and even resentful. His ongoing conflict with his longtime partner, Kofi Kingston, has left The New Day seemingly on the verge of collapse.
WWE recently released footage of the aftermath of the latest episode of Raw. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston could be seen arguing backstage after their miscommunication during the show. The former WWE Champion claimed that he was in control during his match against Chad Gable, and the 38-year-old had no reason to interfere.
During the match, Kofi Kingston sent his opponent towards the ropes and was looking to hit a Trouble in Paradise. However, while the referee was distracted, Woods grabbed the Olympian’s leg from outside the ring and stopped his momentum. This caused the Ghanaian to fall flat on his face and lose his awareness.

Gable quickly took advantage of the opportunity, hit Kingston with a Chaos Theory suplex, and picked up the victory. Woods displayed his heelish tendencies earlier during the night on Raw when he went up against Rey Mysterio. During the match, he ripped off the luchador’s mask and used this distraction to roll up his opponent.

The New Day is one of the oldest active factions in WWE, being together since 2014. They are also one of the only groups in WWE to never have broken up and have won the Tag Team Championship 12 times. On his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T discussed The New Day’s run as a faction and their decade-long friendship.
Booker T said that the faction has had a hell of a run over the past decade. However, they cannot keep running with the same personas forever. The three members definitely deserve a lot of praise for turning such a silly gimmick into one of the most entertaining acts and winning all the gold that they had.
The New Day was touted not to be around for very, very long. I’m serious. The way it started out was definitely not something that we were thinking would be lasting at all. And those guys pulled it together; they figured it out.

The former Mr. Money in the Bank has still not returned to professional wrestling, and there are still doubts if he could ever return to professional wrestling again. Furthermore, the other members of The New Day constantly get into disagreements and fight over their differences.
