The Las Vegas Raiders salvaged a crucial win against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, giving Antonio Pierce his second win of the season when he is trying to impose his system on the team. Many players have been in support and demanded him to be appointed as their head coach.
In between all this, superstar receiver Davante Adams was also bought in. But his future with the team was always a question mark.
Sports Illustrated shared a story on their Instagram account. It featured an Adams picture and the quote from their fantasy football analyst Michael Fabiano that read;
Many analysts suggest a lot of things over the course of the year. Sometimes they have convictions about something they feel will happen. Such as in this case when Fabiano suggested that Davante Adams might be done with the Las Vegas Raiders.

But what came to the attention of the football world was who reacted the post. It turns out, Adams’ head coach Antonio Pierce liked the post from his official account. If going by what that like meant, it could be that a deal is already in place or is about to be signed off.
It could also suggest that this was just him messing with the football world and trying to lead them to a narrative which they know won’t happen. But the all-world receiver has given nothing that leads to this second narrative. In fact, his actions and overall demeanor have indicated otherwise.
Will Davante Adams leave the Las Vegas Raiders?
This is Davante Adams’ eleventh season in the NFL. In that time, he has caught passes from one of the best quarterbacks of all time in Aaron Rodgers. He also had a certain Derek Carr for one season, who was at least better than those behind the center as of now.
With time not on his side, he would prefer to be a part of a competitive team. He has earned over a $100 million to date and may want to cement his legacy by winning a Super Bowl. With the current construction of the Las Vegas Raiders, he knows winning the grand prize will take some time.
Moving to a competitive team at least will give him that chance. These rumors started on the day he was traded out of the Green Bay Packers. Until he gets the move done, every passing situation or action will add to those rumors.
