Roman Reigns was finally able to elicit that long-sought acknowledgement from Jacob Fatu on this week’s Raw. By virtue of his victory in the tribal combat they had at Clash in Italy, Reigns was entitled to be served by Fatu, who stayed true to his word and honored the blood oath of their match by falling in line with the rest of the Bloodline.

With the addition of ‘The Samoan Werewolf’, Reigns has forged a near-invincible shield around him with The Usos also standing in solidarity with their cousin. ‘The OTC’ also posted a group picture of his upgraded family, as one could see below. He captioned it off by saying it’s tough love.

After having Fatu join the Bloodline, Reigns handed out a new assignment to Jey Uso. He asked his former ‘Right Hand Man’ to win the King of the Ring tournament and go after Cody Rhodes‘ Undisputed WWE title. ‘The Tribal Chief’ notably held Jimmy Uso back and asked him to let his younger brother do it on his own.

Reigns needed ‘The Yeet Master’ to level up. As for his backstage confrontation with Rhodes during Clash in Italy post-show, ‘The Head of the Table’ said he’d take care of him eventually. It does seem like WWE has plans for their highly anticipated rematch down the road, which will be their third, with the first two encounters happening at consecutive WrestleMania editions in 2023 and 2024.

Reigns and Rhodes are one win apiece, and it’ll be interesting to see who gets the decisive edge now. Speaking of Roman Reigns‘ upcoming appearances, he’ll not be there on the upcoming episode of Raw in France, which would snap an impressive streak he was on. ‘The Big Uce’ hadn’t missed a single episode of the red brand since beating CM Punk for the world title at WrestleMania.

‘The OTC’ will be back for the 06/15 episode of Raw in Baltimore but wouldn’t travel to London a week later. It has cast doubts over his participation at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia later this month even though he was advertised for the PLE at first. While Reigns could still make an appearance at NOC, he doesn’t seem likely to wrestle there with not much time left until the show to start building toward his next major feud.

Who could be the next major challenger for Roman Reigns?

As seen in the aftermath of his brutal tribal combat showdown with Jacob Fatu at Clash in Italy, Roman Reigns was asked about what the future held for him. ‘The OTC’ namedropped LA Knight and Royce Keys as two of the names he’d been hearing all the noise from. It didn’t faze the 41-year-old as he was confident about running roughshod through any of the “chumps back there.”

Knight, in particular, had been outspoken about Reigns of late. He started getting uncomfortable with The Usos the moment they seemed back on the same page with their cousin even before WrestleMania happened. ‘The Megastar’ lost it after Jimmy and Jey officially reformed the Bloodline with Roman Reigns a few weeks ago.

Knight was the first to declare his participation in the 2026 King of the Ring tournament and made his intentions perfectly clear about going after the world heavyweight title. The erstwhile Eli Drake was confronted by Jimmy Uso, who tried getting it across that the Bloodline had changed and they wouldn’t operate in their old wicked ways anymore.

The Maryland native wasn’t buying it and knew that if Jey were out there too, the Usos would’ve jumped him, followed by Reigns making it a 3-on-1 for Knight. That segment made the fans feel as if WWE had already given it away that ‘The Defiant One’ would be the next major threat to The OTC’s title reign.

Reigns and Knight had collided back in 2023 at Crown Jewel. The former Shield member retained the world title in an ending that included a Jimmy Uso interference, which was why Knight was heavily skeptical of having a fair shot at Roman Reigns this time around too.

The former TNA star even lashed out at Raw GM Adam Pearce this Monday for conspiring with the Bloodline and working in cahoots with them. It sure does seem like Knight is about to find himself in hot water with Reigns having a remastered version of the Bloodline to shield him from his foes.
