- Stefon Diggs hints at a potential return to the New England Patriots after a recent court victory.
- His former teammates are actively encouraging the Patriots to re-sign him.
- Diggs is also being pursued by the Houston Texans, where he previously played.
Fresh off winning a court case, Stefon Diggs is looking to find an NFL team and continue his career. And going by his latest social media activities, Diggs may be open to returning to the New England Patriots.
The 32-year-old wide receiver uploaded a montage of some of his best plays in a Patriots jersey from the 2025-26 season. He captioned it, “This is not an opinion-based sport, so here are the numbers. I played 52% of the snaps and finished with 85 catches for 1,045 yards coming off an ACL.”
His former Patriots teammates flocked to the comment section and urged the Patriots to bring the four-time Pro Bowl wideout back to Boston, starting with star cornerback Christian Gonzalez, “to the Pats.”
Wide receiver DeMario “Pop” Douglas, defensive tackle Milton Williams, and running back Rhamondre Stevenson made it very clear that they would love to have Diggs on the team.

And it’s not only the Patriots players who are trying to recruit him. Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud also appears to be open to reuniting with Diggs. Diggs spent the 2024 season in Houston after leaving the Buffalo Bills. After 47 receptions, 496 yards, and 3 touchdowns in 8 games, Diggs’ ACL gave out. He missed the rest of the year and was later released.
Stefon Diggs was found not guilty of attacking his personal chef
Diggs had his hands full during the early part of the offseason. On one hand, he dealt with a much-publicized breakup with rapper Cardi B, and on the other, he fought a legal battle against his former personal chef, who accused him of physical harm.

Diggs denied all the charges brought against him following an alleged incident on December 2 last year. Jamila Adams, a personal live-in chef whom Diggs hired, accused the Maryland alum of slapping and choking her during an argument.
Diggs’ lawyer defended his client, claiming that it’s an “opportunistic effort” by the plaintiff against his client to extort money.
Prosecutors in a Massachusetts court noted that Diggs and Adams had been in a relationship before the argument. Adams’ attorney conceded that his client had not been “a perfect witness.”
Diggs’ lawyer, Mitch Schuster, told ESPN that they were eager for the truth to come out in the open.
Professional athletes have a target on their back. When someone sees a uniform and a contract, they see leverage; they see a settlement.
Schuster said
Mila Adams should absolutely face consequences for falsely accusing Stefon Diggs of assault. I watched the trial from start to finish and clocked she was lying in the first 30 minutes of testimony.

His reputation took a major hit and she…just walks away? That’s bullshit.
All the charges against Diggs were dropped. He can now focus on football. To continue his league career, he first needs to find a team.
Analyst lists Texans’ divisional rivals as ideal landing spot for Stefon Diggs
Neither the Patriots nor the Texans has shown much interest in re-signing Diggs just yet. If they wait too long, they might lose him to a third team.
According to Mike Kadlick of Sports Illustrated, the Tennessee Titans are an ideal landing spot for Diggs.
The 6′ 0″ pass catcher tallied 85 catches for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns over 17 regular-season games as the Patriots went 14–3 and made an appearance in Super Bowl LX. Along the way, Diggs became the top target in New England’s offense.
Mike Kadlick wrote
Diggs also helped quarterback Drake Maye make a solid push for the league MVP trophy. Perhaps he can also help 2025 first overall pick Cam Ward realize his true potential.
The #Titans have already invested a ton of resources into the receiver room this offseason.

The last thing they need is a Stefan Diggs. Hard pass#TitanUp
Since entering the league as a fifth-rounder (146th overall pick) in the 2015 draft, Diggs has played 161 games. He has registered 942 receptions for 11,504 yards and 74 touchdowns.
