Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding at Madison Square Garden is shaping up to be a grand affair. According to reports from Page Six, Swift is planning her nuptials on the scale of her famous “Eras Tour.”
The important job of executing Swift’s dream wedding is on celebrity wedding planner Mark Seed’s shoulders. Seed has been preparing for the occasion for months.
With July 3 (Kelce and Swift’s proposed wedding date) only a couple of weeks away, Seed is working extra hard to make Swift’s dream wedding a reality.
Sources told Page Six that MSG is not holding any event from June 29 through July 6 exclusively for Swift and Kelce’s big day. The venue has about 20,000 seats, but multiple reports say the guest list is around 1000. So, to transform the place into a fantasy land will take a lot of effort from everyone involved. Darren Olarsch, founder of On The Move Entertainment, told Page Six:
It would be an Eras-tour level production. It’s doable, but it is like planning a concert. What might be a $300,000 wedding somewhere else, inside the Garden would be $3 million.
Per Olarsch, Swift is going for a “romantic, close and intimate” wedding. As previously reported, Swift is chopping down her guest list. Several big names associated with her life won’t receive an invitation. However, Swifties can expect to see some of her best friends, Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez, at MSG on the day of the wedding.
Andy Reid gears up for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid knows what he will wear for the most anticipated celebrity weddings in recent memory. Even though it’s the offseason, the Chiefs still completed OTAs and minicamp. Kelce attended the mandatory part of the drill before rejoining Swift.

The Chiefs take a long break until the proper training camp kicks off at the end of July. It gives Kelce plenty of time to focus on the wedding. Recently, coach Reid, with whom Kelce is very close, was seen trying on tuxedos at a local clothing store. KC general manager Brett Veach and vice president of sports medicine and performance Rick Burkholder were also with Reid.

To look good for the occasion, Reid is cutting down on burgers. Reid told Stephen A. Smith:
I’ve cut back on the cheeseburgers a bit now that I’m older, I can get into the tuxedo so there is a chance I’ll be there for sure—I’m happy for them that they are in love, that to me is the most important thing.

The tuxedo fitting comes about a month after Reid addressed Kelce and Swift’s wedding plans during an appearance on “The Drive” on 96.5 The Fan Radio. Reid revealed whether he had received an invitation to the wedding.
Swift and Kelce have been dating since 2023. She has attended several NFL games, including the Chiefs’ two Super Bowl appearances. In 2025, Swift and Kelce announced their engagement. Kelce proposed to her after shooting an episode of his New Heights podcast.
