Taylor Swift returned to Arrowhead Stadium last week to cheer husband, Travis Kelce. The Grammy winner also brought one of her celebrity friends with her. It was none other than Tom Cruise.

The paparazzi, media, and Swifties expected Swift to attend the Kansas City Chiefs season opener against the Denver Broncos. Cruise’s presence beside her inside the VIP suite doubled the excitement and curiosity.

Occassionaly when the camera was pointed at them, Swift and Cruise were seen giggling or the Opalite singer explaining something to the Oscar winner. It made everyone curious.

So, when Cruise appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote his upcoming film Digger, host Jimmy Fallon asked Cruise to reveal what he and Swift were intently chatting about during the game.

[Taylor] was bringing the football. First of all, she’s a genius. I’ve been following her since she was a kid. Everybody there, all their friends, they’re a beautiful couple and magical in their own right. Everybody there in that booth.

Tom Cruise said

The 64-year-old said Monday’s game in KC was his first football experience since before the COVID-19 pandemic. So, Swift generously talked football with him.

To get to hang out there and have that moment, it was a lot of fun … she knows her stuff.

There was plenty to celebrate for Swift and the Chiefs fans. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes started his first game since tearing his ACL last year. Mahomes had 3 touchdowns and 184 yards. Debutant Kenneth Walker scored two touchdowns and racked up 190+ combined yards.

Travis Kelce looked sharp from start to finish. His best moment came when he gained 51 yards in the middle of the park, which helped him move up to second on the top receiving tight ends list. An ecstatic Swift celebrated the moment with her in-laws, Donna and Jason Kelce. The Chiefs won 31-10.

Last season, the Chiefs went 6-11 and missed the playoffs for the first time since Mahomes became the starting quarterback. There were rumors that Travis Kelce might retire. However, the 36-year-old returned to sign a three-year extension.

Still kind of sitting here like I don’t want to let this thing go, I want to keep playing until the wheels fall off as I always say. I still have the desire to go out there and compete, and I still think I can compete at a high level. I love this game so much that I’m not ready to go into that next phase yet.

Kelce tied the knot with Swift on July 3 at the iconic Madison Square Garden. Tom Cruise was among the guests.

She has previously admitted that she has learned more about football from her 3x Super Bowl champion husband.

She said, ‘You know, he’s so patient.’ I said, ‘I’m sure he was.’ I think everybody would be very patient [with her].

Cruise joked on The Tonight Show

Swift first attended a Chiefs game back in 2023 when KC faced off against the Chicago Bears. Since then, she has attended several fixtures, including AFC Championship games and Super Bowls.
