Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance at the Tight End University summit in Nashville on June 23, taking the stage for a live performance of her 2008 hit “Love Story” just days before her upcoming wedding to fiancé and Kansas City Chiefs star, Travis Kelce.
The singer joined country star Lainey Wilson during the Tight Ends & Friends concert at The Pinnacle, where she delivered an animated rendition of the song for attendees of the annual football gathering. According to reports from the event, Swift performed after a request from San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle, one of the co-founders of Tight End University alongside Kelce and former NFL tight end Greg Olsen.
Videos shared from the venue showed Swift and Wilson performing together as the crowd sang along. Swift also waved to fans gathered on multiple levels of the venue during the appearance.
The performance marked another appearance by Swift at the offseason summit, which was founded in 2021 to bring NFL tight ends together for training, film study, recovery sessions and networking opportunities. The event has become a regular gathering for players across the league.
Swift arrived at the concert wearing a custom black strapless gown by Monse with silver detailing and metallic heels. During the performance, she was also seen displaying her engagement ring from Kelce.

The appearance came after Swift and Kelce attended the summit’s welcome event in Nashville on June 22. The couple posed for photographs with Kittle and his wife Claire, as well as Olsen and his wife Kara. Swift and Kelce began dating in 2023 and announced their engagement in August 2025. Reports indicate the couple is expected to marry on July 3 at the iconic Madison Square Garden.
Ed Kelce says he is “super excited” for son Travis Kelce’s wedding
As wedding preparations continue, Travis Kelce’s father, Ed Kelce, shared his excitement about the upcoming ceremony and praised Taylor Swift during an appearance at a fundraising event in New Jersey on June 24.
Speaking to Fox 29 Philly during Jason Kelce’s Team 62 Fundraiser benefiting the Eagles Autism Foundation, Ed Kelce said, “I am super excited.” He also spoke warmly about Swift, adding, “She is a sweetheart. That is truly the girl next door.”

The comments came amid growing anticipation surrounding the wedding, which follows the couple’s engagement announcement in August 2025. The pair publicly confirmed their relationship in October 2023 and have remained one of the most closely followed celebrity couples since.
George Kittle also expressed appreciation for Swift’s presence at Tight End University despite the timing. Speaking to PEOPLE during the Nashville event, he said, “She’s just such an awesome person to give us her time this close to their wedding. So we’re just so thankful that they’re here.”
Tight End University concluded its annual gathering in Nashville this week, bringing together NFL players for a three day program focused on training, education and collaboration.
