French Open 2021 3rd round Day 7 Schedule and Predictions For Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic

Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal
Day 7 of the 2021 French Open will mark the last day of the third round matches. The Big 3- Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, will be in action alongwith other top names like Matteo Berretini and Diego Schwartzman.
Novak Djokovic vs Ricardas Berankis

World No.1 Novak Djokovic has been in amazing form all tournament and his match against Ricardas Berankis should be an easy one. The Lithuanian doesn’t have weapons in his Arsenal to trouble the top seed. Unless Djokovic plays way below his level, Berankis doesn’t stand a chance against him.
Match Time: Around 1:30 p.m. local time (5:00 p.m. IST) on Court Phillipe Chatrier
Prediction: Djokovic to win in straight sets.
Rafael Nadal vs Cameron Norrie

The 13-time Champion Rafael Nadal will be up against Briton Cameron Norrie in the third round. Interestingly, Nadal will step on Court Suzanne Lenglen and not Chatrier for the first time this tournament. Nadal is generally good to fellow left handers and has already defeated Norrie twice this season without dropping a set. Although he will be wary of Norrie’s good form this Clay season.
Match Time: Around 2:30 p.m. local time (6:00 p.m. IST) on Court Suzanne Lenglen
Prediction: Nadal to win in straight sets.
Roger Federer vs Dominik Koepfer

Swiss Maestro Roger Federer will play his first night match at the French Open against Dominik Koefper. There were doubts surrounding Federer coming into his tournament on his fitness and form due to lack of match practice. But Federer has only got better with progression. Koepfer will be a tricky opponent for him given his movement on Clay but expect the Swiss to get past him.
Match Time: 9:00 p.m. local time on Court Phillipe Chatrier
Prediction: Federer to win in 4 sets.
Diego Schwartzman vs Philipp Kohlschreiber

Many expected 10th seed Diego Schwartzman to fall in the earlier rounds given his terrible form this season but the Argentine has looked near to flawless in the initial two matches. He has been serving very well and hence is expected to beat German Veteran Philipp Kohlschreiber in the third round. But it won’t be a cakewalk for him as Kohlschreiber too has defeated the likes of Aslan Karatsev and Fernando Verdasco this tournament. The match could very well go down the distance if Kohlschreiber lifts his game.
Match Time: 11:00 a.m. local time (2:30 p.m. IST) on Court Suzanne Lenglen
Prediction: Schwartzman to win in four sets.
Matteo Berrettini vs Kwon Soon-woo

9th seed and in for Italian Matteo Berrettini will be up against Korean Kwon Soon-woo in the third round and will go in as a huge favorite to win the match. Although Berrettini hasn’t been tested yet, he has put on a good show with his ‘hammer’ forehands. He should have an easy outing against Kwon.
Match Time: 5:30 p.m. local time (9:00 p.m. IST) on Court Simonne Mathieu
Prediction: Berrettini to win in straight sets.
Other Prediction:
- Jannik Sinner vs Mikael Ymer- Sinner to win in 4 sets.
- Carlos Alcaraz vs Jan Lennard Struff- Struff to win in 5 sets.
- Marco Cecchinato vs Lorenzo Musetti- Musetti to win in 4 sets.
