Korda was born on 5th July 2000 to former Czechoslovakian tennis players Petr Korda and Regina Rajchrtova and also has two elder sisters, Jessica and Nelly, who are professional Golfers on the LPGA Tour representing the USA.

Korda turned Pro in 2018 and won his first ATP title at the 2021 Emilia-Romagna Open held in Parma, Italy becoming the first American to win on European clay. He also had a great run at the 2020 French Open where he started from the qualifying rounds and made it to the 4th round before being defeated by defending and eventual champion Rafael Nadal.

Korda has maintained a low profile when it comes to his personal life. He occasionally adds pictures with his sisters or parents on his social media handles. Despite not having posted any picture, Korda did confirm his relationship with Ivana Nedved who was spotted in the stands when Korda won his maiden ATP title.

Ivana Nedved is the daughter of former Czech Republic and Juventus Football Club player, Pavel Nedved. Pavel was a highly decorated footballer and was the Best European Player of the Year in 2003 winning the coveted Ballon d’Or.

Ivana and Sebastian Korda have been dating for a while but have not disclosed the exact time of their relationship. Ivana was present at the Parma Open when Korda won the title, which led to Sebastian calling her his lucky charm. The duo toured Europe during the Clay season as per the relaxation in Covid norms at the tournaments.
