After the win, Djokovic not only became the only player to win two French Open titles in contemporary tennis, but also became the first player in the Open Era after 1968 to win all the Slams at least twice- a feat even not held by his arch-rivals Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.

During his on-court celebrations, the 35-year-old remained true to his gracious attitude. Djokovic gifted his match-winning racquet to the kid who was cheering for him throughout the game from the sidelines. Receiving the racket, the youngster was absolutely stunned and delirious. His reaction was shared on social media platform Twitter and has gone viral since then.

“He (the youngster) was in my ear the entire match basically, especially when I was two sets to love down. He was encouraging me. He was actually giving me tactics, as well. He was like, ‘Hold your serve, get an easy first ball, then dictate, go to his backhand.’ He was coaching me literally,” Djokovic told the press in Paris.
