World No. 118 Andy Murray will take on Georgian tennis star Nikoloz Basilashvili in the first round of Wimbledon 2021 on Monday. Murray hasn’t been in the best of forms lately. Plagued by injuries in the recent past, Murray tried scripting a comeback in the Queen’s 2021.
After a confidence-boosting win in the first round, Murray suffered a moral shattering loss against Matteo Berrettini in the second round. On the other hand, Nikoloz Basilashvili is coming off a successful stint at the Halle Open 2021. World No. 28 Basilashvili thrashed his opponents in the qualifiers and then went on to reach the semi-finals of the coveted tournament where he was knocked out by Andrey Rublev.
