‘You can do better’ Naomi Osaka calls out a journalist for spreading negativity and later blocks her

Naomi Osaka has been the center of the ‘mental health’ controversy surrounding the tennis community. She refused to do press conferences at the French Open after which, she had to suffer a lot of backlash and even pulled out of the tournament midway.

American journalist, Megyn Kelly has now once again taken a dig at Naomi saying that she has all the time to talk to media and pose for the cover of magazines but when it comes to talking to media after tennis matches, she plays the mental health card.

But Naomi was quick to respond and called out the journalist. She clarified that all these shoots were completed last year and as a journalist, Megyn should know this and have done better.

But Osaka immediately blocked Megyn which gave the journalist a chance to get back at her. “Poor @naomiosaka blocked me while taking a shot at me (guess she’s only tough on the courts). She is apparently arguing that she shot her many covers b/4 publicly claiming she was too socially anxious to deal w/press. Truth is she just doesn’t like Qs she can’t control. Admit it,” she wrote.

Martina Navratilova calls Megyn Kelly an ‘A**s*ole’, supports Osaka

Tennis legend, Martina Navratilova came out in support of Naomi Osaka and lashed out at Megyn Kelly, calling her an ‘A**s*ole’. “Asshole much, Megyn?!? You have no idea what you are talking about. But go ahead- take your shot. It missed badly!!!” Martina wrote on twitter.

But the American journalist got back at Martina over her using the word ‘A**s*ole’. She reminded Martina of the outbursts their have been over the use of such a word.

Finally, Martina had to barge out of the twitter because of the increasing negativity towards her. She even blocked people on twitter for her mental peace.

On court, Naomi Osaka is currently training in Tokyo ahead of the Olympics where she will go in as the No.2 seed and one of the favorite for the gold medal.
