Serena Williams is the GOAT. The American has won 23 Grand Slam titles to her name and is a source of inspiration for many herself. Recently the tennis sensation appeared on the popular talk show Ellen and one of the topics touched on was the legend from the music industry- none other than Beyonce.
Beyonce recently performed the song ‘Be Alive’ at the Oscars which was well-received that Williams could not help but gush about the performance.

Serena Williams in awe of Beyonce
In a recent interview with Ellen, Serena Williams praised the star for her performance and said that the singer was a source of inspiration for many. She also said that Beyonce was the “most amazing person ever” and is also one of the greatest performers ever.
For those of you not aware, the singer had produced a song and sang it for the King Richard movie. The song was later nominated for an Oscar. The song was also sung in the opening ceremony of the Oscars opening ceremony and Williams was grateful for the performance put up by the 40-year-old singer.
It does not stop there as the singing legend also visited the places where Serena and Venus Williams played as kids and was dumbstruck by the gesture from Beyonce. When asked about it, the American was full of praise for the singer.
“It would have just made me want to go to practice every single day even more so. She doesn’t even understand [how many] people she has inspired and how she made us feel on a level I can’t even begin to describe in words,” Serena Williams said. “It goes even beyond that, because she provided so much inspiration to so many little kids in Compton. It was so great and such a wonderful performance.” Said Williams on the show, Ellen DeGeneres.
Serena Williams is coming back to play and plans on winning another Grand Slam. Fans can’t wait to see when she’ll make her appearance and showcase her skills again.
