It was a great occasion for Emma Raducanu. She was honored by King Charles III with the prestigious Member of British Empire (MBE) medal. An MBE is a British honor that is awarded to a person by the King or Queen for a specific accomplishment. It is awarded to people who have worked excellently in the fields of arts, sciences, military, and public service.

Emma Raducanu was awarded this medal for her contribution to tennis and for winning the US Open 2021 women’s singles title. She was named in the 2022 New Year Honour List by the late Queen Elizabeth II.

On the occasion of the function, Emma Raducanu took some time to give an interview to a fashion magazine. She talked about how another recipient of the Member of British Empire (MBE) chivalry honor, Sir Andy Murray, helped her to see through this tough year.

It’s a very individual sport, people are friendly but it’s hard to get really close to those you’re competing against. It’s very nice to talk to Andy Murray, because he went through much the same thing as me. I always looked up to him and watched him win his first Wimbledon and the Olympics. Sometimes I get caught up in the present moment and completely forget about my accomplishments or the positive aspects of my life. You are always thinking about what you could do next and what will come next,” she said.

Emma Raducanu is recovering from a wrist injury that she sustained during the Korea Open. She also had to miss important Billie Jean King Cup 2022 fixtures for Team Great Britain.

Emma Raducanu, a few days ago, posed for the photo project of Porsche which celebrated women’s legacy in tennis. She looked gorgeous in all of her photographs.

To shoot with a 1965 911 was an amazing experience, and even better getting to take it for a few laps afterward. For me Porsche represents style and to be a part of a project like this that combines tennis, cars, style and art photography is very cool. Radka has done an amazing job to bring these together,” she had said.

The 2021 US Open winner is the brand ambassador of Porsche and many other companies. She also fulfilled her childhood dream of owning a Porsche car of her own this year. She will kickstart her 2023 season by playing in the Australian Open.
