Felix Auger-Aliassime is considered one of the brightest talents on the ATP tour. Many tennis legends consider him one of few tennis players who have the potential to take on the legacy of The Big Three- Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal. However, he has not been able to prove his mettle to the world until now.

The 22-year-old won 4 ATP titles and the Davis Cup 2022 trophy for his country Canada in Malaga, Spain. This has increased his confidence and now he is ready to take on any challenge that the 2023 season throws at him.

In a recent interview, the youngster revealed his plans for the upcoming season eyeing Grand Slam and the Masters events.

“There are a lot of good players in this tournament and it will be great to test me against such tough opponents. I feel very confident after the last few months and I think the reasons for my success are clear. I am physically and mentally well, I trained hard and I can’t have any other goal right now than to win the most important tournaments, like the Grand Slams and the Masters 1000,” the World No.6 said.

Felix Auger-Aliassime is going to start his season by participating in the Adelaide International 1 tournament.

The Canadian picked up momentum in the last half of the 2022 season. He picked up back-to-back three trophies at Florence, Antwerp, and Swiss Indoors at Basel. These victories helped him lead Canada to its maiden Davis Cup triumph.

This season he is eyeing winning major tournaments. he is currently in Adelaide, Australia to play in the Adelaide International 1 tournament. Some of the top players such as Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, Denis Shapovalov, among others are also participating in this competition. He will love to test himself against these brilliant players before the start of the Australian Open.

Also, Felix Auger-Aliassime would like to improve his performance at the Grand Slams. His best performance in any Grand Slam last year came in the Australian Open, where he reached the quarter-finals round. However, he lost to Daniil Medvedev here in a well-fought match.
