When Roger Federer was labeled ‘lazy’

Roger Federer won numerous tennis tournaments in his long and illustrious career. The stats are a testimony of his brilliance on the court and the domination he had on the court against his opponents. “I remember the first time I trained with him. He was the new Swiss talent, but he was so lazy. Usually when you train on the circuit as a youngster you are a little stressed, you want to play well, you are very nervous. This guy came onto the court like he didn’t care at all. I was like, ‘Wow’,” he said in a recent interview.
However, the five-time US Open champion improved himself and become one of the greatest athletes of the world. He let his talents blossom and made a name for himself which would always till eternity resonate with excellence.
