It has always been Roger Federer. I dreamed of playing with him but unfortunately, it never happened. Who knows if one day we will be able to do a performance together? I’d really like to. He is a very good person as well as being a great champion.
Said the Italian in an interview with an Italian newspaper Libero Quotidiano

Earlier in the year, Sinner had mentioned that he was sad that he couldn’t play a match against Federer. Just as the 22-year-old was rising his ATP ranks, Federer was out of tennis due to major knee issues and eventually retired, leaving no chance for Sinner to play against him.

Jannik Sinner proud of his victories in recent tournaments

Young Italian sensation Jannik Sinner has proved to the whole world what he truly is capable of in recent tournaments. After a win at the Vienna Open, Sinner managed a huge win streak at the ATP Finals before losing to Novak Djokovic in the finals.

This did not stop the youngster from showing his class at the Davis Cup, where he beat Djokovic in both singles and doubles matches, leading his team to a victory in the semi-finals and eventually the finals.

I just focus on the next point to conquer. I always believe it until the end. The beauty of our sport is also that: that the match isn't over until the last point. I am very proud of these victories against Djokovic and I also want to thank my doubles partner, Lorenzo Sonego, with whom we won that very important match.
Said Sinner in the interview.

With a huge trophy for his team, Sinner closes out 2023 on a high and gears up to do even better with 2024 in sight. He is one of the most promising players on Tour, and fans will be excited to witness more from the youngster.
