Latest ATP rankings post the 2022 ATP Finals: Casper Ruud breaks into the Top-3 while Novak Djokovic finishes inside Top-5

The 2022 ATP Finals champion Novak Djokovic reached the Top 5 of the ATP rankings as he defeated Casper Ruud 7-5, 6-3 in the Championship match. He earned whopping 1500 points, which helped him jump the ladder, much to the delight of his viewers and fans. He is now ranked No.5 in the ATP rankings.

There was no change on the top, however, as both the Spaniards kept their places. The 2022 US Open champion Carlos Alcaraz somehow kept his place as World No.1. In 2022 Australian Open and the French Open Rafael Nadal won 200 points for his participation in the ATP Finals and No.2 rank.

Casper Ruud jumped to third place for his show in the final and earned 800 points. Stefanos Tsitsipas slipped one rank below and earned 200 points as he was able to win just one match against Daniil Medvedev in the Red group of the 2022 ATP Finals. Felix Auger-Aliassime earned 200 points and managed to keep his No.6 rank. Daniil Medvedev ended his disappointing season by slipping two places down to No.7 and earned no points for his participation in the ATP Finals.

Andrey Rublev lost his No.7 rank and dropped to No.8 but earned 400 points because he played a semi-final match against Casper Ruud. Taylor Fritz also earned 400 points for his showing in the season-finale tournament and is placed at No.9. Hubert Hurkacz completed the Top 10 displacing Holger Rune.

The latest ATP rankings after the 2022 ATP Finals

Jannik Sinner, Marin Cilic, Karen Khachanov and Holger Rune

The 2022 Paris Masters title winner Holger Rune dropped to No.11 and lost petty 23 points. The German Alexander Zverev missed out the rest of the season due to an unfortunate injury. He was able to keep his spot in the Top 20. He will finish the year as World No.12.

Another Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta maintained his World No.13 rank. Cameron Norrie is the No.1 Brit on the ATP rankings and placed at the No.14. The Two Italians Jannik Sinner and Matteo Berrettini are placed one below another at No.15 and No.16 in the ATP rankings.

The Croatian Marin Cilic had a disappointing season. He failed to win any tournament this year. However, he managed to keep his No.17 rank. Denis Shapovalov could not win any tournament this year. He managed to reach the final of the Vienna Open but lost to Daniil Medvedev but kept his No.18 rank. The American Frances Tiafoe is placed as World No.19 in the world. Another Russian Karen Khachanov finishes the Top 20 list.

The Spanish Roberto Bautista Agut won two ATP singles titles this season and is just out of the Top 20 with No.21 in the rankings. The 2022 Australian Open doubles champion Nick Kyrgios is No.22 in the world.
