“It just wasn’t working out,” Love Island star gives reasons for breaking off with Nick Kyrgios’ girlfriend Costeen Hatzi a year before the player made their relationship public

Tennis professional Nick Kyrgios loves to be in the media glare. His on-court antics are famous and so are his off-court activities. However, this time he is in limelight because of his girlfriend Costeen Hatzi.
A real estate agent Conor Howard, who is going to star in the Love Island TV show in Australia, has revealed that Costeen Hatzi had been in a relationship with him before he dumped her and she moved on with the Australian tennis player. This happened about a year ago before Nick Kyrgios confirmed his relationship with Costeen Hatzi.
“She had a romance with me. I wouldn’t say [it ended] on good terms, but not bad terms. I broke up with her. It just wasn’t working out, and that’s what was shaky about three, four months before we ended last year,” he said.
Costeen Hatzi is an influencer and blogger living and working in Sydney, Australia. Nick Kyrgios and Ms. Hatzi made their relationship public in December 2021 and since then she has accompanied him and supported him in almost every tournament he has played. She was seen in the stands of Wimbledon when Nick Kyrgios was playing the final of the tournament against Novak Djokovic in July this year.

What to expect from Nick Kyrgios in 2023 season?
Nick Kyrgios may not be the most-loved player on the court but he has his ways and he is a talent. He had a fantastic start to the 2022 season when he won the 2022 Australian Open doubles title with compatriot Thanasi Kokkinakis. He also reached the final of the 2022 Wimbledon. He even won the first set but lost the next three against Novak Djokovic 6-4, 3-6, 4-6, 6-7.
He cut his ATP tour short after losing out to Karen Khachanov in the Quarter-final round of the US Open. Currently ranked No.22 in the ATP rankings, he will be looking to improve his standing on the global stage this year.
He will be looking to make a great start to the season. He is the favorite of the Australian crowd and they would firmly stand behind him, rooting and cheering for him. He would love to win his career’s first Grand Slam singles title and if he could win it in front of the home crowd, better would be for his confidence.
He will also be looking to defend his Australian Open doubles title. The Australian pair will take on the best doubles pair to win the trophy again.
He will also look to improve his record at other majors this year, especially at the French Open and US Open.
