Martina Navratilova and Donald Trump

American tennis legend Martina Navratilova has once again called out former US President Donald Trump on social media. It is pretty clear that Navratilova, being a huge Left Wing supporter absolutely despises Trump and his thinking. She has often criticized Trump publicly for his statements and this time, it is his undemocratic ‘declassifying documents’ statement that has caught Navratilova’s eyes.

Speaking on Fox News, Trump made a very bold statement regarding the declassified documents that have been the talk of the town in the US for the last few weeks. The former US President said that the US President should have the right to declassify anything just by saying the word. He added fuel to the fire by saying that even by thinking about it, the US President should be able to declare anything declassified.

“There’s different people saying different things. If you are the President of the United States, you can declassify just by saying it’s declassified- even by thinking about it,” Trump said on Fox News.

Not only is Trump’s statement very irrational, but it also promotes undemocratic values. Nobody, not even the US President should have the direct right to declassify any document because it may be sensitive to the public interest. Many people across social media have called Trump for his statement including tennis icon Martina Navratilova.

Navratilova took to Twitter to express her frustration with Trump’s ‘stupid’ statement and said that calling him Delusional is an understatement in this scenario. “Delusional is an understatement here,” Martina wrote on Twitter quoting a video of Trump’s baffling statement.
