Rafael Nadal’s Academy signs up a lucrative deal to build a sports center in Malaga

A new sports center is being developed in Malaga, Spain which will house many physical activities planned within its vicinity. The Sierra Blanca Estates and Rafa Nadal Club are in partnership developing this project.
The sports park will be spread over an area of 33,000 m2 and will house many opportunities for recreation and indulging in sport activities for families. A high-performance facility house a tennis and paddle tennis club as well as additional sports equipments. It will be developed as part of the proposal announced by Sierra Blanca Estates and the Rafa Nadal Club. This project would also promote physical exercise for all residents of the area.
This would result in the semi-covered clay courts, outdoor hard courts, and numerous paddle tennis courts. It will also boast a central court with stands to host sporting events. An outdoor pool, and a multipurpose building with amenities like a fitness centre and crossfit area are also in the plan. A sports shop, restaurant, spa, and a museum devoted to the life and career of Rafael Nadal, among others. This is included in the future Rafa Nadal Club of Malaga that Sierra Blanca Estates has projected.
Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal is trying to get himself fit for the upcoming clay swing of the season. He wants to claim his career’s 15th French Open men’s singles title.

Rafael Nadal’s investments through his Academy
The 22-time Grand Slam champion is one of the richest tennis players in the world. Rafael Nadal is ranked second after Novak Djokovic in terms of career prize money. The Spaniard has earned $134.64 million during his long and illustrious career. However, he used this money to invest in different ventures which guarantee him hefty cash flow.
Rafael Nadal started his Rafa Nadal Academy in 2016 in his hometown Manacor, Spain. The students can get enrolled in this academy by paying $62,000 in fees. This ensure regular money for the champion. The students receive meals, training, education and accomodation. In addition, there are hard, clay, indoor, and squash courts available, as well as a fitness center with a variety of activities and a wellness spa. His uncle Toni Nadal also helps him manage his academy.
Recently, when Amelie Mauresmo and Gilles Moretton paid a visit to the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, to present him a replica of his statute at Roland Garros, they also took a tour of this academy. They saw the children’s everyday routines of mixing tennis and academic studies.
They also dined at the “Roland Garros” Restaurant, which is themed after the French Open and displays images of legendary players like Chris Evert, Björn Borg, Steffi Graf, and Rafael Nadal himself. The replica handed to Rafael Nadal is now on display at the Rafa Nadal Museum in Manacor, which is free to all tennis fans. The Spaniard also owns many restaurant chain TATEL with singer Enrique Iglesias and superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
