Recently, he stopped at Barclays Center in Brooklyn to enjoy a basketball match between the NBA teams Brooklyn Nets and Boston Celtics. The crowd gave a loud cheer when the camera beamed at him. However, this is the first time the Swiss legend came to the USA but did not participate in any match or tournament. The 41-year-old decided to retire after a glorious career spanning 24 years after playing his last match at the Laver Cup 2022 in London. He won 20 Grand Slam titles in this span and many other tournaments, including Olympic Games medals and Davis Cup tournaments.
Roger Federer has not disclosed what he ought to do after retirement. While the majority of his viewers and fans are advising him to kick start his own coaching center from the up-and-rising tennis players out there, there are speculations that he may be interested in coaching as well. However, the Swiss legend has not confirmed any rumors, at the time of writing.
