After a long and tiring season, Aryna Sabalenka is in a chill mood as she is enjoying her off-season nowadays. She is also going to play some exhibition matches in the inaugural edition of the World Tennis League in Dubai, UAE.
Meanwhile, a video of Aryna Sabalenka has surfaced on social media. The American sports broadcaster Tennis Channel has posted a fun video of the Belarusian in which she is seen giving some sneak peek about her off-season plans.
“How are you spending the holidays?” the Tennis channel wrote in its caption.
Aryna Sabalenka will be seen playing for Team Falcons in the World Tennis League alongside Novak Djokovic, Grigor Dimitrov, and best friend Paula Badosa. Her team will compete against Team Eagles of Nick Kyrgios, Caroline Garcia, Rohan Bopanna, Bianca Andreescu, and Andreas Seppi; Team Hawks of Alexander Zverev, Elena Rybakina, Dominic Thiem, Anett Kontaveit; Team Kites of Felix Auger-Aliassime, Iga Swiatek, Holger Rune, Sania Mirza, and Eugene Bouchard, to win the tournament.

Aryna Sabalenka will start her 2023 season soon
Aryna Sabalenka will be heading straight to Australia to start her 2023 WTA season, after her stint in Dubai. She will be participating in the first Grand Slam of the year, i.e., the Australian Open 2023, which will be played at Melbourne Park. But before that, she will feature in the Adelaide International 1 tournament.
Adelaide International 1 tournament is a WTA 500 tournament that will be played in the city of Adelaide between the 1st and 8th of January. Some of the top seeds will feature in the competition as they will try to assess their fitness levels and acclimatize themselves to the Australian environment.
The World No.2 Ons Jabeur will start the tournament as the Top seed. Along with her Aryna Sabalenka, Daria Kasatkina, Veronika Kudermetova, Danielle Collins, Anett Kontaveit, Jelena Ostapenko, Ekaterina Alexandrova, Liudmila Samsonova, Wimbledon 2022 champion Elena Rybakina will also feature in the first WTA tournament of the season.
The Adelaide International 1 tournament is considered one of the most important competitions of the season as it helps the participants to get in better shape before the start of the Australian Open. And as this tournament is always the first event of the season, many tennis fans love it. They flock to see their favorite stars competing against other tennis players.
Also, this tournament defines the rhythm of the season. The winner gets an early psychological advantage over other players. Adelaide International 1 tournament is an ATP 250 tournament for male players.
