“What a blithering d***head” Nick Kyrgios gets pounded on social media for INSULTING Rafael Nadal’s raw emotions towards Roger Federer’s retirement

Roger Federer played the last match of his career at the Laver Cup on Friday night. He partnered with his greatest friend and rival Rafael Nadal for one last time but the pairing lost a nail biting thriller against Americans Jack Sock and Frances Tiafoe in three sets 6-4,6-7,9-11. Since it was Federer’s last match, emotions were running very high for both the fans and fellow players.
Federer himself was very emotional after the match finished and choked up multiple times. But apart from Federer, to everyone’s shock, the person who was the most emotional was Rafael Nadal. As soon as the match finished, Nadal started crying and was sobbing like a baby during Federer’s entire farewell speech.
Australian showman Nick Kyrgios took to social media to joke about Nadal crying but fans took it in a negative way. In one of the pictures captured, a teary-eyed Nadal could be seen behind an emotional Federer. Meanwhile, in the same picture, Djokovic could be seen very happy and was clicked laughing.
Kyrgios shared that picture on his Instagram story and wrote, “Novak knows chances for slams is better now while Rafa is shattered.” He was referring to the fact that given his age and fitness, Djokovic has a better chance to win majors as compared to Nadal after Federer’s retirement.

Tennis Twitter upset with Nick Kyrgios’ attitude towards Rafael Nadal
Kyrgios doesn’t have many fans due to his attitude and after commenting on Nadal’s picture, he was once again under a lot of scrutiny from the tennis world. Fans called him out for being disrespectful towards a person’s emotion.
