German ace, Alexander Zverev has had quite a lot of incidents which are also well-documented , well known incidents both on and off the court owing to his fiery character. Now we look at those that involve him and his girlfriends.

World number 5 Alexander “Sascha” Zverev has proven himself as one of the top 5 players in the world and that too for a long time, with his highest ranking of 3 coming way back in November 2017. He has also completed the ‘Idols turn into rivals’ story by beating Swiss Maestro Roger Federer to a Masters 1000 title in Canada by winning Against him in the final.

Year-long fling with German model Brenda Patea

Brenda Patea gave birth to Zverev’s baby after the pair split up nd intends to raise the kid alone

Zverev’s ex-girlfriend is German model Brenda Patea. The pair got to know each other after Alex approached her in a Paris Coffee Shop back in October 2019. That relationship, however, didn’t last very long, lasting 12 months after which they weren’t spotted with each other anymore.

When asked about the break-up, the model responded “We had crises before and then ended our relationship with Alex”. When asked why it turned out like that, she added “Because we have different views on life. Everyone who is with an athlete must submit to these situations”.

Despite the brief year-long period, Patea gave birth to Zverev’s child in March 2021. Brenda mentioned about this pregnancy in October 2020 and remarked that she intended to raise the baby by herself and that Alex has minimal involvement with the child.

“Allegations are unfounded and untrue”: Zverev

Zverev has also had to face domestic abuse charges, with ex girlfriend Olyga Sharypova accusing the German of choking her with a pillow during a fight during the US Open

Zverev has had a tough time, even facing allegations regarding domestic abuse that were termed “unfounded” and “untrue” by him. These allegations were via his ex girlfriend Olyga Sharypova.

Since the bitter split with Brenda, Alexander has focused his entire life on tennis and it can be presumed that due to commitments that include hectic training and travelling, he has not had enough time to date anyone, even more so due to the pandemic.

He does, therefore, not have a current girlfriend as of now. His commitment to tennis, however, is bearing fruit as just after 2021 started, he blazed to his fourth Masters 1000 title in Madrid, beating the King of Clay, Rafael Nadal among others to win the title.
