Andreeva is currently being coached by Jean-Rene Lisnard, a Monegasque retired professional tennis player who once represented France. Lisnard is the only tennis player from Monaco to win a main draw match at a Grand Slam. He has been a member of the Monaco Davis Cup team since 2007.

Lisnard became professional in 1997, the same year when he made it to the final of the Junior US Open in men’s doubles representing France. The man from Monaco achieved a career-best singles ranking of 84 in 2003. His best performance in a Major came at the 2005 Australian Open, where he made it to the third round of the tournament. Though his tennis career may not have gone the way he wanted, his protegee Andreeva is surely looking to have a great future ahead of her. It would be interesting to see if she is able to fulfill her coach’s dream or not.
