Greek tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas has had a great start to the 2022 season. The player participated in the ATP Cup this year and won the second group stage by defeating Nikoloz Basilashvili. He also took part in the Australian Open 2022 and has qualified for the semifinals by defeating Jannik Sinner.
Stefanos defeated Jannik in the quarterfinal of Australian Open 2022 with a score of 6-3, 6-4, 6-2. The player gave a great performance in the tournament and finally made a place in the semifinals where he will take on World No.2 Daniil Medvedev. Jannik also gave a tough fight to his opponent Stefanos.

He praised Stefanos for his amazing performance and did not fail to mention the fact that the player had gone through an elbow surgery two weeks ago. He lauded Tsitsipas’ amazing skills in tennis and also said that he is a great competitor. He said that with Stefanos he always feels that it’s the occasion that makes a player what he is and every match teaches him something new not only about the game but also about the player itself.
