As a member of TKO’s Board of Directors, The Rock has announced that Drew McIntyre has re-signed with WWE. The Great One took to his Instagram account and made the revelation. He congratulated McIntyre on securing a brand-new deal. Not only that, but the real-life Dwayne Johnson sent Drew a Scottish Claymore citing he knew how much it means to McIntyre’s culture.

The Scot received his present in a restaurant while he was having a quality time with his family. A waiter came closer to hand him over the Claymore Rock had sent. In his social media post, The Final Boss said that he personally wanted to gift it to The Scottish Warrior at his meeting with WWE President Nick Khan. However, he couldn’t skip his cheat meal and shots of chilled tequila.

At last, The Brahma Bull lauded the self-proclaimed DM Hunk for the passion and hunger he possesses. Now that the deal between Drew McIntyre and WWE is closed, the fans can take a sigh of relief. The past few months have been tumultuous to say the least in regards to Drew’s contract running out of time.

Over the past month or so, McIntyre seemed to pay lip service to WWE. The two sides couldn’t reach an agreement until about 2-3 days ago, per PWInsider. Moreover, a source believes that the deal has been agreed upon for about three years. It was also relayed that the aforementioned video that The Rock dispensed was shot well in advance.

Drew McIntyre awaits his crowning moment after bagging new WWE deal

Earlier this month at WrestleMania XL, the 38-year-old beat Seth Rollins to win the World Heavyweight title just to be cashed-in on by Damian Priest. The latter pinned the 2024 Social Star of the Year to capture a world title for the first time in his WWE career.

Next night on Raw, Drew McIntyre proceeded to call The Judgment Day member a Bondage Undertaker. The Iyre-born wrestler was then robbed by CM Punk in a No. 1 contenders match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Jey Uso emerged victorious and he’s now facing Priest at Backlash.

Nonetheless, there’s nothing that could suffice more than McIntyre regaining the world title in front of his home crowd in Glasgow at the Clash at the Castle PLE. Slated to go down on June 15, it could be a night of redemption for The Savior of WrestleMania.
