Almost two months ago, former US President Donald Trump merely survived an assassination attempt during a Pennsylvania rally. Trump received praise for his bravery following the attempt. The Republican nominee, with a bloody ear, stood up and shouted “Fight!” repeatedly. Speaking about the incident, The Rock expresses his thoughts on Trump.

During an appearance at The Vault conference, Rock claimed that there was no space for such a disturbing incident at all. According to him, it reflected poorly on what the citizens of the United States stood for. Furthermore, the Hollywood star heaped praise on the post-assassination attempt moment

Rock also reminisced about his first time meeting the billionaire. The former WWE Champion disclosed that Trump used to watch him wrestle at Madison Square Garden. Moreover, he had requested Rocky to show him the “people’s eyebrow.” For those unversed, Donald Trump is a part of the WWE Hall of Famer, having appeared several times on programming.

They tried to assassinate him, there’s no room for that, and despite who we were in that moment, I believe in my core that is not who we are as a country. So, him standing up in that moment, we wanted to see that.

Most notably, the 78-year-old took part in the “Battle of the Billionaires” at WrestleMania 23 against Vince McMahon. In fact, it was McMahon who inducted his friend into the Hall of Fame class of 2013. Amid the ongoing lawsuit against the former WWE chairman, there were rumors that suggested that Trump and McMahon maintained constant communication despite the heinous allegations. However, Trump’s camp later denied those claims.

When will The Rock return to WWE?

The Rock grabbed the headlines earlier this year when he returned to WWE. During the buildup to WrestleMania XL, The Brahma Bull turned heel and joined The Bloodline. At the Show of Shows, the legend put on an impressive performance as he teamed with Roman Reigns to defeat Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.

In his last appearance, The Final Boss warned the new Undisputed WWE Champion, Rhodes, before handing him an undisclosed object. Since then, Rock’s been on sabbatical from the wrestling world as he went on to film for A24’s The Smashing Machine. However, recent reports have suggested The Great One might be close to a comeback.

As per PWN, WWE expects The Rock to make his next appearance in the coming few months. At the moment, there is no exact timeframe for a return. Amid the ongoing civil war within The Bloodline, fans predict that the Hollywood star might have a key role to play in the coming months.
