Tiger Woods has gone back to Zurich, Switzerland. As per reports, the former World No.1 golfer has flown back to resume his rehabilitation program following a brief return to the United States.

Before the 108th PGA Championship, reports from TMZ emerged that Woods’ private jet had landed in Florida. The golfer was later seen walking in the airport, confirming that he indeed was on the plane.

The 15-time major champion was then reported to have attended the graduation ceremony of Kai Trump. As per reports, he arrived a bit late but left early to avoid drawing much attention to his ongoing relationship with Vanessa Trump.

A few days back, Trump made a grim update. In a post on Instagram, she revealed being diagnosed with breast cancer.

Woods is now reported to have flown back to Zurich. The 50-year-old traveled to the European city at night and will resume his treatment.

The golfer found himself in controversy at the end of March following his car crash. On March 28, his luxury SUV flipped over at around 2 p.m. near his residence in Jupiter, Florida.

While he had a negative alcohol test, he refused to take part in urinalysis. He was later arrested on charges of DUI, property damage, and refusal to submit. Around 8 hours later, he was released on bail.

The arrest affidavit later revealed that he was “sweating profusely” during the questioning by the police. Two white pills, later identified as hydrocodone, were recovered from his pocket.

A few days after his DUI crash and arrest, Woods broke his silence. In a post on his social media accounts, the 15-time major champion announced that he was stepping away from golf and would seek treatment.

He was then reported to have flown to Zurich, Switzerland, for his rehab program. He received a special clearance from a federal Florida court for seeking treatment abroad by citing privacy reasons.

Following his return this month, it seemed he had completed his rehab program. However, that does not appear to be the case, as he has returned to Zurich.

Golf is reportedly still on the mind of Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods has seemingly returned to Zurich to continue his rehab program. As he goes back, there are some wondering if he will ever return to the greens. As per reports, golf is still on his mind, and he has not given up on the sport.

Woods’ last official appearance came at the Open Championship in 2024. At the Royal Troon Course in Scotland, the 3-time Open Championship winner shot scores of 79 and 77 in the first and second rounds, respectively, and missed the cut.

He did appear at the PNC Championship in December, later that year, alongside his son Charlie. The father-son duo finished as the runners-up in this event.

Since then, Woods has not played any sort of competitive golf. Though he has appeared in the TGL, he has not swung his club in an official PGA Tour event.

According to reports from People, the golfer is very serious about his rehab and that golf is still on his mind amidst all this.

Golf is very much on Tiger’s mind and will be in [the] coming months as he gets back to it here in whatever ways he can. Golf is who he is, and those in the sport respect and like him. He will do whatever he has to to get back in whatever way he can in light of his injuries and age. He is not a quitter.

At the moment, Woods is eligible for the senior tour as well. After turning 50 in December, 2025, the doors of the PGA Tour Champions opened up for him. On the senior tour, he will be able to use a cart instead of walking all 18 holes, which would be a significant boost for him.

For now, it remains to be seen when he will actually return. As of now, the chances of him appearing at the majors are low. If he does not play in a competitive event by the end of July, he will completely fall out of the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR).
