Minecraft has a ton of items that the players can build in the game and they serve a variety of purposes. Here we learn about the the 5 most important items to build in Minecraft Survival as soon as players get into the game!
Minecraft has two modes that are the most popular apart from the modded Minecraft. These are the Survival and Creative modes in the normal Minecraft. The Creative Mode allows limit testing and creative building, while Survival is geared more towards, well, Survival.

5 Most important items to build in Minecraft Survival
The Survival mode requires the players to go into a world full of opportunity and danger without anything, and make their place in it. Players may often face many dangers from monsters and deadly biomes and is, all in all, a challenging game-mode.

5# Weapons
Swords, bows, crossbows, tridents and axe are all the weapon that are currently in the game. They have high damage and while the Sword and Axe are exclusively melee, the bows and crossbows are ranged. The game also has a combination of both, with the Tridents!
The point is, to stay safe from monsters, players need to craft any weapons on their arrival into the game. Swords are the primary choice for new players and can be used to defend yourself and kill mobs to stay safe or gather loot!
4# Armor
The fourth most important items to build in Minecraft Survival includes all the Armors in Minecraft. Mobs in Minecraft, both monsters and hostile mobs, deal high damage and in Survival the players have limited hearts!
Once dead, the players may lose items or even lose their game in Hardcore mode. However, wearing a layer of armor, ensures that the damage taken is kept to a minimum and the player does not die easily!
The players build anything from the basic Leather Armor to the strongest Netherite armor.
3# Working Tools
The working Tools in Minecraft include the following:
- Axe (to cut wood)
- Pickaxe (to mine stone-like blocks)
- Shovel (to mine dirt-like blocks)
- Hoe (to create farmland)
These are some of the most important items that the players need to make right upon their arrival into the game. Otherwise, players cannot mine, chop or even farm and cannot get the required materials to craft items.

These are one of the most over-looked items in the game that can save lives in the early-game. A Torch or a light source is absolutely essential as monster tend to spawn in places with low light level.
Some of the common and uncommon light sources include:

- Campfires
- Lanterns
- Sea Lanterns
There are very less natural light sources in Minecraft during the Night and this can lead to hordes of monsters spawning and killing the player! Having any light source prevents this and players can also safe guard their houses using this.
1# A Shelter
This must be the top priority for the player upon entering the world, and that is to find or build a safe place to stay. A Safe shelter with torches can ensure that the players stay safe during night-time and also craft and build without any intrusion.
Players can build small houses using commonly found items like wood and stone or find a simple cave and light it up with torches to make a cosy home!
