While the fight might not be as famous as some of its previous PPV headliners, it is still one of the most technical fights to take place. Henry Cejudo stands 5 feet 4 inches tall with a reach of 64 inches. Meanwhile, Aljamain Sterling stands 5 feet 7 inches tall and has a reach of 71 inches.

Sterling has a massive advantage with 7 inches of extra reach than Cejudo. Henry Cejudo is almost every time the smaller opponent heading into his fight at the flyweight or bantamweight division. However, according to Cejudo smaller size has more advantages than one might know. Triple C on his youtube channel uploaded a video where Cejudo and his former rival Demetrious Johnson explained the advantages of being on the smaller side.

“This is a conversation for us short kings here…A lot of times think because you’re short it’s a disadvantage. Not really. you’re more explosive, you’re harder to take down because of the level change…In other words, being short fighting somebody that has more length, there’s more body to grab.” said Cejudo. Johnson who also has ample experience fighting and winning against taller opponents joined in as well. He explained that the weight difference is a more prominent factor than reach advantage when fighting a bigger opponent.
