“Championship weight, it’s all we know” – Conor McGregor has only championship aspirations
Conor McGregor
Conor McGregor had made championship weight in 2015, on this day, against his fight with Dennis Siver at UFC Fight Night 59. McGregor took to his Twitter to remember the iconic weigh-in. “Tell Jose I’m coming”, said the Irishman after weighing in the championship weight. McGregor said he is making the championship wait for 7 years and that’s the only thing he does.
Conor McGregor has his eyes set on UFC LW champion Charles Oliveira. McGregor has called for the showdown with the brazil champion and marked it as him versus Brazil 2. McGregor has a championship victory over King of Rio Jose Aldo at 145.
Charles Oliveira accepted the fight with Conor McGregor and is ready anytime
Conor McGregor has been off the foot injury since his third fight with Dustin Poirier. In the meanwhile, Poirier fought for the title and lost to champion Charles Oliveira. McGregor, who was looking for a fourth fight with Poirier, called out the champion for a fight. This would an opportunity for Oliveira to avenge Jose Aldo’s loss to McGregor. McGregor’s Twitter was full of tweets to Oliveira after his win against Poirier.
Would he get this match McGregor’s return to the octagon, probably not? He has not won enough fights recently but McGregor does not need to be on a winning streak to get the championship.
