Henry Cejudo has been calling Dana White out, but not to create beef or talk dirt about the UFC President. Rather he’s willing to step in place of the injured Max Holloway to fight Alex Volkanovski for the UFC featherweight title.

‘Triple C’ has been constantly nagging Dana White on Twitter to let him take on current featherweight champ Alex Volkanovski as a bid to claim his hands on the belt and become the promotion’s first-ever triple-division champion.

There have only been four fighters in the history of the UFC to have held two belts simultaneously. Conor Mcgregor was the first one to create history, followed by Daniel Cormier, Amanda Nunes, and Henry Cejudo.

Cejudo has now set his eyes on the featherweight belt, having previously held the flyweight and bantamweight titles, and is offering the UFC the opportunity to let a Mexican fighter have a claim over one of the divisions.

In order to sweeten the deal to let him fight, Cejudo said that he would beat Jake Paul up for free as he tagged White on Twitter saying, “Hey @danawhite Pay me to fight Alex and I’ll beat up Jake Paul for free.”

Max Holloway pulled out from his title fight against Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 272 due to re-aggravating a previous injury and Henry Cejudo has been all ready to step in and try to claim his hands on a third belt.

Cejudo has been constantly calling out Dana to let him take the injured ‘Blessed’s place and even tagged ESPN MMA to start a poll to see who the fans wanted to see Volkanovski fight.

Hey @espnmma why don’t you guys start a poll to see who the people want to see Alexander the average next.”

He even tagged Dana asking him to pay for the fight against Volkanovski and in return, he would beat up Jake Paul for free which is in reference to the feud between Paul and White.

Whether Cejudo could beat Jake Paul is entirely another story but if he is serious about going for the featherweight title, it could certainly raise PPV buys and fans wouldn’t be decided with such a matchup.

However, Dana had said in an interview that, “You’ve been off all this time and you want to come back and fight Volkanovski and jump the line and jump over Max and all these other guys that have been there? It’s a tough conversation.”

UFC 272 still doesn’t have the main event so it’s yet to be seen who the UFC will appoint to take on Alex Volkanovski.
