Disputes over paychecks and freedom in his contract are pushing Ngannou to contemplate staying in the UFC. The fighter is already making moves to fight in a mega boxing match against the heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury.

Joe Rogan, who is a huge fan of Francis was present at what could have been his final fight in the UFC at UFC 270. The UFC commentator talks about wanting to see Ngannou box in the latest episode of his podcast. “Part of me wants to see him box. I don’t want to see him box because I don’t love to see him fight in MMA,” said Joe on his podcast. “I want to see him because I want to see him get a giant chunk of money. Like Conor McGregor-Floyd Mayweather type of money. When Conor McGregor fought Floyd Mayweather, he made $100 million dollars.”

“Like if he fought Tyson Fury, how much money would they be able to get! Obviously, you would have to be very marketable. Tyson is very marketable and Francis is very marketable. Especially him as a UFC heavyweight champion, going up to fight in boxing. It would be Tyson Fury be 5 inches taller than Ngannou.”
