MMA is a brutal sport and is highly unpredictable. Doesn’t matter how invincible some fighters are, there will be a moment when they will get knocked out by one of their opponents. While talking about the uncertainty of the sport, Joe Rogan in one of his podcasts shows explained how the greatest MMA fighters have lost despite being superior in a match-up.

He said: “Even the people that you think are the greatest of all time, they can get cracked and knocked unconscious.” Joe Rogan gave the famous example of Anderson Silva where the fighter lost his iconic 16-win fight streak to Chris Weidman at UFC 162.

According to Rogan, these moments are extremely strange and shocking for the fight fans at that moment.
