One of Joe Rogan‘s recent podcast episodes featured Shane Gillis. One of the discussion topics was Bud Light, and another was Kanye West. Bud Light faced controversy after they made an advertisement with Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender woman. However, the UFC recently announced its partnership with the beer company, and they seemed to have found their footing again.
In the recent episode with Gillis, Rogan enquired whether Kanye West could be back like before. West’s antisemitic public views in the recent past made him a subject of ridicule and cancellation. Rogan felt that the current political scenario is perfect for West’s comeback. This is what Rogan said.

Gillis thought that a new album was enough for the comeback of Kanye. However, Rogan’s remark made him realize that the UFC commentator had a valid point. In a later podcast episode, Rogan, Gillis, Mark Normand, and Ari Shaffir enjoyed a stack of Bud Light beers.
Bud Light’s comeback has something to do with the endorsement from UFC CEO Dana White. White was and still is very vocal about his support for Anheuser-Busch, the parent company of Bud Light. White has said on numerous occasions that the views of Anheuser-Busch are patriotic and align with his political and patriotic beliefs.
Joe Rogan will assume the commentator role for the final UFC PPV of 2024
The UFC will look to close 2024 with a bang with the final PPV of 2024. UFC 296, headlined by Colby Covington and Leon Edwards, is very much anticipated by the fans. The anticipation has risen since the UFC 296 press conference where Covington made offensive remarks about Edwards’ dead father.
Moreover, in the co-main event of the PPV, Brandon Royval and Alexandre Pantoja will fight for an entertaining clash for the flyweight title. Also at the event is a welterweight bout between Stephen Thompson and the undefeated Shavkat Rakhmonov. Rogan will interview all the victors of the fights at the PPV as per custom.
Rogan’s last appearance was at UFC 295, one of the best events of 2023. Now, with Daniel Cormier and Jon Anik beside him, Rogan will look to close out the show in style. With UFC 297, headlined by Sean Strickland and Dricus Du Plessis, in Canada, a place where Rogan vows never to go, his next appearance will most likely be at UFC 298, headlined by Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria, in Anaheim, California.
