Sean Strickland believes a nuclear holocaust can result in America getting more UFC Champions

Sean Strickland has a unique view as to why there are so few American champions in the UFC. While most gyms may accredit it to the global rise in the sport’s popularity or the fact that fighters who have mastered a single aspect of combat can very well dominate the entire fight, according to Strickland it’s the lack of nuclear weapons.

You read that right, at a recent episode of Food Truck Diaries hosted by former UFC Heavyweight, Brendan Schaub, Strickland expressed his view that he “wishes” that America gets attacked with Nuclear weapons by Russia.

Talking about the lack of “Masculine Men” in the United States Strickland said, “The thing about fighting these days, there’s a lot of f*cking p*ssies, especially Americans. Americans are the biggest fcking p*ssies, ” He continued, “How many current American champs are there?” prompting Schaub to reply saying, “correct”

Strickland then went on to give props to his last opponent, Alex Pereira, using him as an example to make his point. He said, “You look at this bada** f*cking Brazilian (Alex Pereira) that just knocked me out. Bro, it’s like American’s are soft as f*ck dude.” Strickland laid the blame for this generation on consumerism saying, “Too much f*cking Starbucks life is f*cking too good for you motherf*cker.”

He then went on conclude his rant, by wishing for a Nuclear Holocaust in the country thinking that would be one way to bring the country back to its old demographic. “I’m almost hoping Russia f*cking nukes us just so our nuts get a little bigger, dude. You guys are too soft. “, said Strickland.

Strickland is currently scheduled to face Jared Cannonier, a fellow American. They were originally scheduled to face at UFC Vegas 62, but Strickland had to pull out due to an infection he suffered during one of his training sessions.

This injury forced him to have a minor surgery on his finger causing the UFC to postpone the fight. Most recently, the pair have been rebooked for a fight at UFC Fight Night 216.

Being the main event, Strickland in his attempt to promote the card appeared on Brendan Schaub’s talk show ranting and raving about a variety of topics including Ronda Rousey, Dwayne Johnson and Patrick Swayze.
